Meet Kevin Taylor

​Kevin Taylor launched Operation Arresting Hunger in 2012 with a big heart and a clear mission: to make sure no family goes without during the holidays. What started as a simple idea to give back has grown into a powerful community effort that helps hundreds of families each year.
 
Born in Gelnhausen, Germany 🇩🇪, Kevin is the proud son of Daniella and Rickey Taylor. He has served with the Houston County Sheriff's Office for 15 years, starting as a Detention Deputy. Over the years, he has worked as a Transport Deputy, Patrol Deputy, Extradition Corporal, High Risk Warrants Corporal, and now serves as a Sergeant in the Juvenile Investigations Division. He was also a member of the Sheriff’s Response Team for six years.
 
When he’s not working or coordinating community outreach, Kevin enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and her beautiful family. He’s also completely wrapped around the paw of his dog, Ginger, who is very much aware that she’s the boss.

​Kevin leads with compassion and heart, and through Operation Arresting Hunger, he continues to inspire others to step up, serve, and spread kindness throughout Houston County.
