Sarah is a founding member and the Vice President of Operation Arresting Hunger. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, she has lived in Georgia for most of her life. She began her law enforcement career in 2003 at Central State Prison. In 2006 she was hired as a Detention Deputy at the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
Sarah has supported Operation Arresting Hunger from its very beginning in 2012. Having taken an oath to accept her part in making the world a better place, striving to be cooperative and understanding, to do what she can to honor and improve the lives around her. Sarah believes that service to the community is an integral part of law enforcement and is something she takes seriously. Currently Sarah works as a Civil Clerk with the Sheriff’s Office. In her free time Sarah enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with her family.
